SFL Home Services exists because South Florida homeowners deserve better than a search results page and a prayer — and honest pros deserve better than competing against unlicensed operators on price alone.
The problem we solve
Hiring a contractor in South Florida runs on two bad options: directories that list anyone who pays, and word of mouth that doesn’t scale. Meanwhile the state already keeps the records that matter — licenses, standing, classifications — and insurance and review histories exist too. They’re just scattered, stale, and nobody’s job to check. Now it’s ours.
What we are
We’re a verification and booking layer. We check every listed pro’s Florida license against DBPR, verify their insurance and track its expiry, and audit their review record — daily, monthly, and quarterly respectively, for as long as they’re listed. Homeowners book through us for free; pros pay a subscription for the badge and the booked work it brings. Our pros’ phones are answered around the clock by the Answer305 AI receptionist team, part of the same company.
Why AC first
In Miami, air conditioning isn’t a comfort — it’s survival infrastructure, and it fails at the worst moments. It’s the trade where a bad hire hurts fastest and a verified hire matters most. We launch there, get the standard right, then extend it to plumbing, electrical, and roofing.
